Fair rope; doesn’t hold up to heavy use

I had this rope for a few months. I sized it properly and had extra inside the handle so I could adjust if needed. Despite having the extra length in the handles, the rope flew out of the handle during a few WODs which was disappointing because otherwise the rope was a great deal. Cheaper than most speed ropes. Just not as great quality as some other designs. The mechanism for hold the rope in the handle is not as bulletproof as some other brands.

This rope doesn't work: the rope slips
Out of the fitting during jumping. I returned the first one, got a second and it still didn't work. Very disappointing. I have gloves and leg sleeves from BearK and love them. This product needs a redesign.

I have now used them in 3 workouts and the rope keeps coming out of the handle. I either have a defective product or this is how they are made. Very disappointed. I can’t get into a rhythm at all doing double unders without the rope detaching from the handle. I tried to return but it was at 33 days out and not allowed.
